Dear Prof Mills,
Please accept congratulations from Vancouver, Canada.  Most of us, whom you met when you were here as a visiting lecturer at UBC always knew that your day to become the next great leader of our beloved Ghana was not far off.  Not only do we take pride in knowing that you are the next president, but we are particularly happy because your calm, cool, and progressive nature will serve Ghana and Africa well.  Ghana needs you, and you will be a great president for all the people of Ghana.  Under your leadership, we hope to work with you and your team to see progress in Ghana on the social, economic, and political fronts.  Above all, we are sure you will restore the image of Ghana abroad, and in Africa.  I know you as a kindhearted man who cares not just for the people of Ghana but also for all Africans as you stated when you and I participated in the Canadian government consultations leading to the G8 summit in Canada in 2002.  I remember you restating this same position when I asked you to consider running for president again during your visit to Simon Fraser University at the invitation of our university president, Dr. Stevenson.  We are indeed excited.
